Remote Monitoring

& monthly reporting

Warranty replacement

& installation at no extra cost

Annual engineer visit

to detect & prevent future issues

Whilst all systems are installed to the highest of standards and backed by the manufacturer’s warranties, we appreciate that some clients would like the additional insurance that engineers are on hand to ensure the system continues to generate at its optimum level.

You’re making a substantial capital investment, so it’s understandable that you want to ensure your investment keeps reaping dividends for many years to come.

Whilst all returns are based on 25-year projections, in reality a well-maintained Solar Array will still be producing at over 80% initial capacity well beyond this.

We can provide this cover for as little as 1% of the system cost per annum.
Please get in touch and we’ll be happy to provide bespoke pricing based on your system and requirements: Contact us, call 0345 2660023 or email getintouch@noblegreenenergy.co.uk

Why use Noble Green Energy for Operation & Maintenance?

O&M Surveys are carried out by experienced, qualified personnel utilising the latest testing equipment such as the Fluke 393FC CAT III 1500V Solar Clamp Meter with iFlex and thermal imaging drones.

All O&M Maintenance checks/Annual Engineer visits will cover the following areas and a report will be issued detailing findings and recommendations:
  • Visual check of modules from ground level (slipped modules, damage, spoiling etc)
  • Visual check of inverter where there is safe access (indication of fault or damage)
  • Recorded generation – is it increasing?
  • Visual check for signs of structural distress (after inclement weather)
  • Reduce shading from vegetation growth where possible
  • AC & DC Isolators (functional check, damage and ingress)
  • DC Junction boxes, where present (damage and ingress)
  • Integrity of fuses and surge protectors where present
  • Generation compared from annual data within the inverter?
  • Inverter(s) mounted securely?
  • Inverter(s) ventilated? (unobstructed airflow, fans operating etc)
  • Externally mounted inverters free of signs of water ingress
  • Inverter fault log(s)
  • AC voltage at inverter(s) and assess risk of overvoltage.
  • DC connectors (visual/drone checking secure, free of damage, supported away from pooling water)
  • Report on whether module cleaning is advised (particularly on shallow pitch or dusty environment)
  • Test DC circuits (Vsc, Isc, Earth leakage)
  • Are cables adequately supported and free of damage?
  • Is all labelling and signage present and correct? (including system schematic)
  • Is the Emergency Shutdown Procedure clearly visible?
  • Are module clamps secure?
  • Are the mounting rails secure and free of distortion?
  • String series resistance test
  • Thermographic survey for faulty components/Connections and module cells
